Tokyo - Roadside Stall @ Shinjuku

18 September 2009 - 13:00 (Friday)

Unfortunately, we have no idea what this eatery is called as it's in Japanese and the eatery staff can't really speak english either. This was recommended by my army buddy, Alex, and if there's anything i've done right in this lifetime, it's listening to his recommendation and coming here for a meal.

This eatery is just round the corner of OICITY (which i believe the Japs call Marui City) and their food is just so awesome! Simple yet delightfully tasty. The pork salad has got to be the best salad i have ever eaten. It's basically Shabu Shabu quality pork with vegetable but the taste was seriously out of this world. The cold noodles, the tempura, the raw beef with raw egg yolk was just amazing as well.

This will definitely be a regular haunt for us on our yearly pilgrimage to Tokyo!

Ten Million Thumbs up!!!
